As of January 1, 2026, Sangbo Sim has assumed the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at ZKW Group GmbH. This appointment marks a significant milestone for the company, bringing in an internationally seasoned financial specialist well-versed in optimizing business operations and investor relations. Sim takes over the role from Sangwook Woo, who is departing for new opportunities after successfully navigating the company through three challenging years in Austria.

Sangbo Sim, 57, brings a wealth of experience from his tenure at LG Electronics, where he has served in various pivotal finance roles since 2001. His vast expertise encompasses business improvement and investor relations, showcasing his ability to enhance corporate efficiency. Notably, Sim previously held positions such as CFO of LG Deutschland GmbH and CFO of LG Nordic AB, demonstrating his leadership across different markets.

Sim's academic credentials bolster his professional achievements. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Korea University and a Master of Science from Stanford Graduate School of Business, equipping him with the necessary skills to lead ZKW Group into a prosperous future. During his time at LG, he oversaw financial planning for the Smart Life Solutions sector, aligning it with the company’s aspirations for growth in the realms of IoT, robotics, and smart devices. His exceptional contributions were acknowledged when he received the highest award from LG's Innovation School.
