Immersive Art Experience at Himeji Castle

This autumn, an extraordinary immersive art event titled Himeji Castle of Light: DANDELION PROJECT will take place at the iconic Himeji Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Scheduled from November 22 to December 11, 2025, this collaboration between NAKED, INC. and Himeji Castle intends to envelop the castle in peace-themed light art.

Renowned as Shirasagi Castle, Himeji Castle has long served as a cultural symbol of peace, having survived countless wars throughout its over 400 years of history. Its stunning white exterior and unique architectural style make it a rare gem in Japan's heritage landscape. This year marks the 80th anniversary of Japan's post-war era, and this event is a celebration of peace, focusing on the desire for a harmonious future.

A Unique Art Experience Co-Created with Local Elementary Students

The artistic centerpiece of the event is an interactive art installation called DANDELION, strategically located in the San-no-maru Plaza, where visitors can enjoy spectacular views of the castle. This installation allows participants to blow on the dandelion art object, triggering a projection mapping display that blooms peace flowers. In an exciting initiative, students from Himeji City will co-create the peace flowers featured in the artwork, showcasing their creativity and hope for a brighter future through the medium of art.

NAKED, INC., led by founder Ryotaro Muramatsu, is a creative company known for developing unique art experiences. This project, DANDELION PROJECT, aims to install dandelion art pieces worldwide, creating a network of peace symbols through interactive art.
