Delta Galil Partners with Barrett Distribution for Smooth Fulfillment Operations Transition

Delta Galil's Fulfillment Transition: A Collaborative Success

In a significant move to optimize their operations, Delta Galil USA has collaborated with Barrett Distribution Centers, a leading third-party logistics provider, to transition the fulfillment operations for its high-profile brands, Bare Necessities and Organic Basics. This transition, which took place recently, marks a pivotal moment for both companies, showcasing their commitment to efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Located in Forney, Texas, Barrett Distribution Centers facilitated the transition by dedicating a fully equipped 100,000-square-foot facility to Delta Galil's brands. This substantial operation launched on an accelerated timeline, underscoring the urgency and importance of maintaining seamless business operations. The swift implementation allowed Delta Galil to migrate more than 1.6 million units and over 100,000 unique products within just a short span of four weeks.

Mike Irrgang, Vice President of Operations at Delta Galil Industries, emphasized the challenges faced in making the switch. "When our previous provider informed us that they would be ceasing operations, we were left with a narrow timeframe to ensure a smooth handover while keeping the customer experience intact. Hence, choosing Barrett Distribution was a no-brainer," he stated.

Following a site visit to Barrett's Forney facility, the Delta Galil team was reassured of their partner's capabilities. "We recognized that Barrett possessed the necessary expertise and resources to manage the transition effectively, which gave us the confidence to proceed," he added.

Supporting a diverse portfolio that includes apparel, footwear, and lifestyle brands, Barrett Distribution is known for its customized fulfillment solutions that facilitate brands' growth. As Scott Hothem, Senior Vice President of Customer Solutions at Barrett, remarked, "We understand the pressures associated with new customer startups. Our project managers and operational staff are well-versed in navigating challenges while ensuring we meet our timelines."

The teams from Barrett worked hand-in-hand with Delta Galil to develop a robust transition strategy, meticulously addressing potential issues and ensuring the project remained on course. Their collaborative efforts have not only resulted in a successful implementation but have also strengthened their partnerships for the future.

Barrett Distribution has a proven track record in managing complex transitional processes and has become a trusted name in retail and consumer packaging logistics. Their longstanding commitment to superior customer service places them among the leading logistics providers in North America, enabling brands to thrive seamlessly in the ever-evolving eCommerce landscape.
