The deal sizes he has handled range from $1 million to an impressive $500 million, showcasing his ability to navigate diverse financial landscapes. His extensive background includes conducting Quality of Earnings analyses for both buy-side and sell-side transactions across various sectors, including consumer products, e-commerce, media and entertainment, technology, and professional services.

His leadership was instrumental in scaling the practice's team from four to twenty professionals while also focusing on mentoring team members at various levels.

Rick Simonsen's professional journey also includes experience at a global consulting firm, where he carried out financial due diligence for structured finance transactions. He began his career at one of the 'Big Four' accounting firms, where he specialized in auditing hedge funds and private equity funds with combined assets exceeding $25 billion.

Simonsen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Connecticut. He is a certified public accountant (CPA) licensed in New York and a certified merger and acquisition advisor (CMAA).
