Hitachi Solutions Celebrates Sustainability with 2026 Calendar

Hitachi Solutions, headquartered in Shinagawa, Tokyo, has taken a significant step towards promoting sustainability transformation with the release of its 2026 calendar. This initiative aims to spark conversations around the Sustainability Transformation (SX) among stakeholders and encourage collaborative efforts towards a sustainable future.

The calendar features twelve themes that encapsulate the company's vision for 2030, including security measures, environmental conservation, and diverse working styles. Each theme includes heartfelt messages from employees and insights directed towards stakeholders. To facilitate this process, Hitachi Solutions established an internal community platform that allows employees to exchange ideas and engage in meaningful discussions concerning SX topics. Leveraging the Group Task Reminder Service, a proprietary solution, the company effectively gathered and organized feedback from employees to ensure diverse perspectives are represented in the calendar’s content.

In line with its long-term goals, Hitachi Solutions initiated the SX Project in 2022, focusing on implementing sustainability practices company-wide. This foundation enables the organization to craft critical corporate philosophies and pinpoint material sustainability challenges. Additionally, Hitachi launched an open community platform called “Haro-min,” fostering an inclusive environment where ideas and strategies for sustainability can thrive.

Looking ahead, Hitachi Solutions is committed to forming a company-wide SX Promotion Organization, bringing together management and employees for unified efforts towards sustainability, set for 2025.
