Abu Dhabi Finance Week 2025 Set to Double in Size at New Venue

ADBW 2025: Expanding Horizons in Financial Leadership

The upcoming Abu Dhabi Finance Week (ADFW) 2025 marks a pivotal moment for regional and global financial landscapes. Under the esteemed patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and President of the Executive Council, this event promises to be the largest and most impactful yet in its storied history. Set to take place from December 8 to 11, 2025, the ADFW will take place at an innovative new location, doubling its size compared to previous years, thus reinforcing its status as a crucial meeting point for financial leaders worldwide.

This year's theme, "Engineering the Capital Network," will vitalize discussions on the evolution of modern finance in light of emerging technologies like artificial intelligence and quantum technologies. This focus reflects both the shifting dynamics of global capital flows and Abu Dhabi's critical role as a central financial hub in the Gulf, uniquely positioned at the nexus of major economic powers such as China, India, and the United States.

As a transformative event in the MEASA region, the ADFW is organized by the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) and is designed to elevate the exchange of ideas, develop relationships, and create business opportunities. In 2023, the event witnessed participation from global financial institutions managing approximately $450 billion in assets under management (AUM) who announced their integration into ADGM. This momentum carried into 2024, with $650 billion in AUM being announced last year.

This past ADFW attracted over 20,000 global leaders, experts, executives, and policymakers who collectively steer an impressive $42.5 trillion in assets across various industries. The agenda featured over 350 sessions, along with 60 key sector events and strategic forums, where leaders tackled significant challenges related to economic growth, asset management, technological advancements, and sustainable practices.

Abu Dhabi's sovereign wealth funds enjoyed unprecedented success last year, managing assets worth $1.7 trillion, underlining the city's stature as one of the wealthiest locations globally, and showcasing its power in facilitating long-term investments and fostering economic resilience.

Ahmed Jasim Al Zaabi, Chairman of ADGM, expressed enthusiasm regarding the ambitious plans for this year's ADFW, stating: “ADFW 2025 is gearing up to be our most ambitious edition yet. With our new venue and an expanded size, we are setting a higher standard for financial gatherings regionally and globally. It reflects Abu Dhabi’s growing influence in global capital markets and our commitment to providing a truly international financial platform.”

Whether you're an investor, a financial analyst, or a policymaker, the ADFW presents an unparalleled opportunity to engage with the evolving narratives in finance, exchange insights with fellow leaders, and explore collaborative avenues in the ever-changing economic environment.

As we lean toward this significant event, we invite everyone interested in finance, governance, and technological innovations to be part of this journey into the future of financial markets.
