Daito eSports Challenge Cup Registration Open!

REDEE Inc., headquartered in Kyoto, is proud to announce its collaboration with the city of Daito in Osaka Prefecture for the upcoming Daito eSports Challenge Cup, set to take place on November 16, 2025. This event welcomes participants from all backgrounds, aiming to promote eSports culture and understanding.

Event Highlights

eSports Competitions: Participants can look forward to two thrilling competitions featuring popular game titles:

Puyo Puyo eSports Tournament

• - Game Title: Puyo Puyo eSports
• - Format: Team Competition (1 pair = 2 players)
• - Capacity: First 32 pairs
• - Elimination Format: Single Elimination
• - Note: Participants under elementary school age must be accompanied by a guardian.

Street Fighter 6 Tournament

• - Game Title: Street Fighter 6
• - Format: Individual Competition
• - Capacity: First 32 participants
• - Elimination Format: Single Elimination
• - Note: Participants under 16 require parental consent, and those in elementary school must be accompanied by a guardian.

Special Guests

We are excited to have the renowned eSports caster Ikihiro Nishida as the MC for the event. Additionally, professional players Akinari (Puyo Puyo eSports) and M0jya (Street Fighter 6) will provide insights and commentary throughout the tournaments. (Please note that guest appearances are subject to change.)

eSports Experience Events

To engage the community and foster a better understanding of eSports, several experience events will be held prior to the tournament:

• - October 13, 2025 (Monday, Public Holiday) from 11:00 to 15:30 at Daito City Community Sports Center. Concurrently, the Daito Sports Carnival will also be held!
• - October 19, 2025 (Sunday) from 11:00 to 16:00 at Poptown Suminodo Opera Park.
• - October 29, 2025 (Wednesday) from 16:00 to 21:00 at Suminodo Station Deck during the Daito Zunchatcha Night Market!
• - November 3, 2025 (Monday, Public Holiday) from 11:00 until 16:00 at Active Square Daito.

Grand Raffle

At the conclusion of the Daito eSports Challenge Cup on November 16, a grand raffle will take place, offering exciting prizes for participants.
