About Water Technology Skills
Water Technology was introduced as a competitive skill category in the
45th Kazan, Russia competition in August 2019. Japan's participation started from the
46th competition, where our employee claimed a bronze medal during their debut. The
47th competition also featured Japanese representatives from our group.
Age Limit for Participants
Participants must be under 25 years of age (many other skill categories have a limit of 22), as the competition aims to foster skill development among the youth.
Scope of Skills Involved
Skills encompass various areas, including the operation and management of water and sewage treatment processes and managing the quality of treated water. Competitors are evaluated on their knowledge of maintaining pumps used for sludge transport, adapting to changes in water inflow due to rain, and analyzing the quality of both raw water and treated water.
