GCL SI Unveils EcoPower Mate Mobile PV Storage at SNEC 2026

Introduction

The global push for clean energy continues to gather momentum, as innovative solutions emerge to address the challenges of energy generation, especially in remote and off-grid locations. One standout development is GCL System Integration Technology Co. Ltd's newly launched EcoPower Mate mobile photovoltaic (PV) storage solution, which is set to showcase its capabilities at the 19th SNEC International Photovoltaic Power Generation and Smart Energy Conference & Exhibition, taking place from June 3–5, 2026, at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC) in Shanghai.

Overview of EcoPower Mate

The EcoPower Mate is designed with flexibility and efficiency in mind, making it an ideal solution for operation sites that suffer from power constraints or complicated energy needs. This integrated mobile PV solution facilitates rapid deployment and adaptable transportation, drastically enhancing its usability in diverse off-grid applications. The focus is on helping industries that traditionally rely on diesel generators, such as oil and gas extraction, where operational costs are rising due to stringent environmental regulations.

Addressing Industry Challenges

In many remote areas, operations continue to depend heavily on diesel generators, which can be costly and less flexible, driving operations up to 275% more expensive than using solar PV solutions. These issues are exacerbated by escalating environmental laws that mandate more sustainable operations. Notably, GCL SI recognizes the immediate need for standardized and deployable mobile solar energy systems to cut down operational costs while bolstering efficiency and sustainability in various settings.

Design Features

The EcoPower Mate line includes three major configurations, each tailored to meet different operational demands and environmental conditions:
  • - RG20-M (117.7kW): A rail-mounted solution that excels in long-term, fixed installations, offering robust structure and low maintenance for mining and oil/gas sites.
  • - RG20-A (94.16kW): A fully automated 'one-click' system perfect for labor-constrained environments, providing high-yield efficiency with adaptability for various site conditions.
  • - WG20-A (46.56kW): A rapidly deployable, wheel-mounted model suitable for emergencies, this system features a pile-free design that allows easy installation on uneven terrain.
