UD IMPACT and Hitotsubashi University Initiate Entrepreneurship Program for Students

New Entrepreneurship Initiative Announced

In an effort to bridge the gap in entrepreneurship education, UD IMPACT Inc., Korea’s leading entrepreneurial education company, has partnered with Hitotsubashi University Graduate School of Social and Data Science. This collaboration aims to enhance entrepreneurship education by establishing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that will facilitate hands-on learning experiences for aspiring entrepreneurs.

As the first collaborative venture, the Hitotsubashi x UD U-Startup “Act-preneur” Bootcamp is scheduled for April 25-26, 2026. The two-day immersive program invites participants interested in entrepreneurship to engage in a comprehensive approach to business creation, from conception to execution. Currently, applications are open for this enriching experience, which will be held in person. Furthermore, it has been officially registered as a partner event for SusHi Tech Tokyo 2026.

The Need for Effective Entrepreneurial Education

With complex social issues taking center stage, there is a growing demand for individuals capable of solving these problems through innovative business approaches. Traditional entrepreneurship education in Japan has emphasized theoretical knowledge, often falling short in providing practical support for actual challenges.

Recognizing this shortfall, UD IMPACT and Hitotsubashi University are focusing on developing a dynamic educational framework that empowers students by nurturing entrepreneurial skills right from the outset. This partnership seeks to create an environment conducive to initiative and risk-taking among students, thereby enhancing their ability to address societal needs through entrepreneurship.
