YOFC focused on advancing the evolving demands of 5G-A and 6G during the exhibition. Key innovations included the G.654.E optical fiber, notorious for its ultra-high-speed transmission capabilities over long distances. Other showcased products included GenBand’s versatile optical fiber, designed to support federated networks, metropolitan area networks, and access networks across numerous applications. The company also introduced high-end multimode fibers that enhance data center efficiency.
The G.654.E fiber stands out in the industry thanks to its large effective area and low attenuation coefficient, making it the preferred choice for current 400G and 800G transmission technologies, as well as future ultra-high-speed Tbit/s technologies. YOFC has been at the forefront of developing G.654.E technology for over a decade and has successfully deployed these fibers in network infrastructure projects within China and internationally in places like the Philippines and Brazil.
To further enhance optical communication technology, YOFC unveiled two groundbreaking products during MWC 2025:
- - EasyBand® Plus-Mini 173μm Fiber:
This innovative fiber combines a smaller outer diameter with outstanding bend insensitivity, effectively decreasing the size and weight of optical fiber cables, making it ideal for urban pipeline network upgrades.
- - MaxBand® OM4 Pro Fiber:
Specifically designed for 100G single-channel transceivers, this fiber addresses signal degradation due to central wavelength shifts in optical modules, ensuring seamless multimode connectivity transitions towards 400G, 800G, and beyond, supporting increasing computational power demands from AI integration across industries.
Intelligent Computing Centers Optimized for AI
YOFC also highlighted its Smart Computing solution, which integrates advanced optical fibers and premium multimode fibers with 400G/800G optical modules and environmentally friendly cabling. By focusing on AI-optimized data center scenarios, this solution enhances computational power while promoting sustainability for a greener future. YOFC's hollow fiber technology reduces transmission delays by approximately 34% compared to traditional solid fibers, offering a high-performance channel for smart computing networks and large distributed models. By leveraging years of expertise in mass production of low-loss hollow fibers, YOFC leads the industry in delivering high-quality products suitable for vast commercial applications.
Undersea Optical Communication Solutions for a Sustainable Future
At the exhibition, YOFC showcased a complete range of optical fiber submarine cables, both equipped with and without repeaters, as well as its proprietary submarine repeaters with connection interface boxes. YOFC's submarine fiber optic cables can be deployed in various underwater environments, with a maximum laying depth of 8,000 meters. They are fully certified and include composite photoelectric submarine cables for high-power transmission, facilitating clean energy transport.
Intelligent All-Optical Vehicles: Redefining Smart Travel Experiences
Through its innovative "All-Optical Intelligent Vehicle" concept, YOFC's solution enhances vehicle electrification and intelligence, strengthens safety and reliability, while reducing energy consumption and maintenance costs. Five new technologies are integrated, including in-vehicle fiber-optic communication and fiber monitoring of onboard batteries, aimed at by enhancing the overall driving experience.
YOFC also revealed its latest solutions for urban rail transport communication, designed to provide wireless coverage between independent communication systems and ensure seamless communication safety.
FTTx Solutions for Enhanced Optical Connectivity
YOFC's FTTx solution offers a comprehensive end-to-end package that includes optical fiber, equipment, connectors, and a full suite of services to help clients swiftly deploy fiber optic access networks. The next-generation FTTR (Fiber to the Room) optical network solution boasts a seamless 10 Gbps bandwidth with virtually invisible fiber cabling, accommodating multiple terminal types simultaneously, ideal for 8K Ultra HD video, cloud gaming, and smart home intelligence.
