Fulton Financial Corporation Welcomes David S. Schulz to Its Board of Directors
Fulton Financial Corporation, a prominent financial holding company, has announced the appointment of David S. Schulz as a new member of its Board of Directors. His term is set to commence on September 14, 2026, and will conclude at the annual meeting of shareholders in 2027.
Curt Myers, the Chairman, CEO, and President of Fulton, expressed enthusiasm about Schulz's arrival, acknowledging the extensive financial leadership experience he brings. Schulz’s career spans over a decade with various publicly traded companies, equipping him with significant expertise in finance, strategic planning, risk management, and mergers and acquisitions. With Schulz joining the Board, Fulton's directorate will consist of 11 members, with Schulz specifically appointed to serve on both the Audit and Risk committees. Additionally, he will also occupy a position on the Board of Directors of Fulton Bank, N.A., the banking subsidiary of the Corporation.
Schulz previously held important positions in several companies, including Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Wesco International, Inc. from 2016 to June 2020, and later as the Executive Vice President and CFO until February 2026. After serving as an Executive Vice President and Special Advisor to the CEO, he retired on May 31, 2026. Prior to his tenure at Wesco, he played crucial roles at Armstrong Flooring, Inc. as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, and at Armstrong World Industries, Inc. as Senior Vice President and CFO. His extensive financial acumen was also honed during his time at Procter & Gamble and The J.M. Smucker Company.
Beyond his corporate experiences, Schulz has a distinguished record of public service, having served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps. His contributions to corporate governance extend into his recent appointment to the Board of Sterling Infrastructure, Inc. where he has been active on the audit and compensation committees since 2025.
