Farming Simulator 25: Highlands Fishing Expansion
Sega has officially announced the release date for the highly anticipated
Highlands Fishing expansion pack for
Farming Simulator 25, which has already sold over three million copies worldwide on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Mac. Scheduled for launch on
November 4, 2025, this expansion introduces a host of new features and gameplay options that immerse players in the serene world of aquaculture.
Dive into Aquaculture
The
Highlands Fishing expansion is set in a newly designed map inspired by the picturesque Highland region of Scotland, called
Kinleigh. This lush landscape, rich with rolling hills and extensive waterways, allows players to experience not only traditional farming but also the innovative practice of aquaculture.
In this exciting new endeavor, players can operate fishing boats to cultivate and harvest various fish species like salmon and rainbow trout, as well as enjoy fishing from the shores. The expansion will also introduce new crops, such as
onions, and livestock including
Highland cattle. Additionally, players can engage in historical building projects, constructing iconic castles that further enhance their farming experience.
New Vehicles and Technologies
The expansion pack includes more than
20 new vehicles and farming machines from four renowned brands:
Monosem,
Can-Am,
Agri-Spread, and
GT Bunning. This collection features not only terrestrial vehicles but also amphibious machines tailored for aquaculture. Players can harness these new tools to elevate their farming operations, creating a unique blend of agriculture and aquaculture.
The
Highlands Fishing Edition will bundle the expansion with the base game alongside downloadable content, including the
MacDon Pack, featuring additional farming equipment and tools. Furthermore, a
Year 1 Season Pass, which includes Highlands Fishing and three additional packs, is currently available for players eager to expand their gameplay.
