Join the Beyond SDGs Public-Private Conference Subcommittee for 2030 Goals

Call for Participants in the Beyond SDGs Public-Private Conference Subcommittees

The Beyond SDGs Public-Private Conference, chaired by Professor Kenji Kanai from Keio University, is actively seeking participants for its subcommittees. These groups will focus on co-creating policies and deepening discussions that address international objectives beyond the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for the post-2030 era.

Purpose of the Subcommittees

The United Nations' Global Sustainable Development Report (GSDR) for 2019 and 2023 highlighted six entry points essential for achieving the SDGs. The Beyond SDGs conference will establish subcommittees in alignment with these points, leveraging knowledge and best practices from Japan to generate innovative proposals for international goals beyond 2030.

The themes for these subcommittees will encompass the following six areas:
1. Human Health, Well-Being, and Flourishing Abilities
2. Sustainable and Fair Economy
3. Sustainable Food Systems and Healthy Nutritional Patterns
4. Decarbonization of Energy and Universal Access to Energy
5. Sustainable Development of Cities and Their Surroundings
6. Global Environmental Commons
