Samsung Introduces AI Life Partner at CES 2026

On January 4, 2026, Samsung Electronics unveiled its ambition for an 'AI Life Partner' during the CES 2026 event, held at the Wynn Las Vegas hotel in the Latour Ballroom. This presentation highlighted the company's emphasis on the seamless integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in enhancing research and development (R&D), business operations, and user experiences.

TM Roh, Samsung's CEO and head of the Device Experience division, delivered a keynote speech showcasing the company's leadership in the AI sector. He articulated Samsung's vision of creating a genuine AI partner experience that would accompany users in their daily lives, emphasizing value addition beyond basic functionalities.

“As we innovate, Samsung will integrate mobile devices, visual display products, home appliances, and services to craft a cohesive personal experience. By incorporating AI across multiple ecosystems, we will lead the charge in delivering tangible AI experiences in everyday scenarios,” Roh stated.

Samsung executives SW Yong and Sukhmani Mohta discussed how the convergence of high-performance display hardware and AI technology can transform televisions into true entertainment companions. By leveraging more than 20 years of experience in the television industry, Samsung presented its full lineup of AI-equipped televisions designed for unprecedented interactive viewing experiences.

At the heart of this offering is the 130-inch Micro RGB TV, which promises substantial advancements in screen size and image quality. With outstanding color expression and resolution, this model stands as Samsung's most advanced in terms of color spectrum. The Timeless frame design minimizes visual distractions while ensuring an elegant presence.

The Micro RGB employs minuscule RGB light sources for unparalleled clarity, enabling each red, green, and blue diode to shine independently and produce the most natural and vibrant color palettes. Furthermore, the Micro RGB AI Engine Pro meticulously controls RGB colors, driving astonishing sharpness in visual content.

To elevate the viewing experience, Samsung introduced the Vision AI Companion (VAC), which utilizes AI capabilities to enhance various life scenarios, from viewing to dining. VAC offers curated suggestions for TV shows, meal choices, and music based on user preferences, expanding the traditional
