Medline Expands Manufacturing Facilities in Slovakia

Medline International B.V., a subsidiary of Medline Inc. (NASDAQ: MDLN), is making significant strides in its industrial expansion in Slovakia, which is aimed at supporting long-term growth across Europe. The new facility, which is currently under construction adjacent to the existing Medline plant, is expected to substantially boost production capacity and capabilities, positioning the company for future growth across Europe. The project remains on schedule, with production anticipated to commence in 2027. This expansion includes the creation of a new clean room and optimized operational flows designed to enhance efficiency, flexibility, and reliable supply for customers.

Hervé Million, president of Medline Europe, Middle East, and Africa, highlighted the strategic importance of this expansion, stating, "This project represents a significant investment in our European manufacturing network and our ability to provide our clients with high-quality, reliable solutions close to where they are needed." Furthermore, the expansion is expected to create additional jobs over time, further establishing Medline as a major employer in the health product manufacturing industry in Slovakia. The facility is being constructed with high sustainability standards in mind, aiming for BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method) Excellent certification, and will integrate energy-efficient solutions, including solar energy systems.
