EAGLYS Launches Beta Version of ALCHEMISTA Labs, Transforming Experimental Data Management with AI

EAGLYS Unveils ALCHEMISTA Labs Beta Version

EAGLYS Inc., headquartered in Shibuya, Tokyo and led by CEO Hiroki Imamura, has announced the launch of the beta version of its experimental data platform, ALCHEMISTA Labs. This innovative platform focuses on enhancing materials informatics (MI), facilitating the exploration, management, and AI-based structuring of experimental data.

Background and Market Challenges

The use of MI in materials development has shown the potential to reduce development times by 30% to 50% compared to traditional methods. However, as competition intensifies with countries in Asia and the West, accelerating development speed through MI has become crucial for maintaining a competitive edge. A significant challenge lies in the fact that much of the experimental data used for MI is recorded and stored in Excel. To utilize this data effectively, extensive exploration and restructuring are required, which can be time-consuming and labor-intensive. Recognizing this pain point from numerous customer feedback, EAGLYS has developed ALCHEMISTA Labs to streamline this process.

What is ALCHEMISTA Labs?

ALCHEMISTA Labs is designed to seamlessly integrate with Excel, widely utilized in the chemical industry, while leveraging EAGLYS's advanced AI technologies. This platform offers a one-stop solution for the exploration, management, and AI-driven structuring of experimental data.

Key Features

1. Direct Use of Excel Data
One of the standout features of ALCHEMISTA Labs is the ability to incorporate Excel data without any need for formatting or restructuring during the data import process. Users can upload their files as they are, maintaining the original format and allowing for rapid searching within the Excel data fields, substance names, and documents to support experimental data exploration.

2. AI Data Structuring for MI
The platform enables users to combine multiple experimental datasets to generate MI datasets. Any inconsistencies in item notation, such as variations in naming like 'TPA' or 'terephthalic acid,' are automatically merged by the AI. The structured data can then be exported in CSV format for use with existing MI tools.

3. Technical Features
Employing a unique AI structuring technology, ALCHEMISTA Labs allows for no-code, intuitive operation enabling efficient data structuring. The platform utilizes a combination of a chemical terminology dictionary and AI to detect and correct variations in item notations.

Availability of Beta Version

The beta version is now available for users interested in exploring its capabilities. Those wishing to participate can reach out through the contact information provided on EAGLYS's website: EAGLYS Contact.

Upcoming Plans

EAGLYS plans to release the official version by the end of 2025. In the meantime, a webinar showcasing ALCHEMISTA Labs will be conducted, featuring a product demonstration. Interested individuals are encouraged to join the webinar at the following details:
