Orix Life Partners with NPO Center for Community Support Project for Children with Disabilities

Orix Life Insurance Launches Community Support Initiative

In collaboration with the Japan NPO Center, Orix Life Insurance has initiated the 'Shape Our Thoughts Project', aimed at supporting children with disabilities and serious illnesses. This initiative seeks to provide enriching experiences and cherished memories for these children and their families, all while emphasizing community engagement and well-being. The project aligns with Orix Life’s mission of creating a society where everyone can lead fulfilling lives, particularly within the context of Japan’s aging population.

Project Goals and Objectives

The primary aim of the 'Shape Our Thoughts Project' is to encourage organizations that assist children with disabilities and their families. By funding various activities, the project hopes to transform the dreams and aspirations of these children into reality. The activities can include exhilarating play programs, memorable travels with family or friends, as well as opportunities for parents and siblings to relax and recharge. In essence, the project values the aspirations of both the children and their surrounding support systems, aiming to uplift spirits amid challenges.

The project welcomes a broad range of activity proposals that foster joy and connection, including:
  • - Travel and Outings: Experiences that allow families to create lasting memories together.
  • - Recreational Sports: Engaging children in physical activities that are both fun and beneficial for their health.
  • - Cultural and Artistic Endeavors: Encouraging participation in arts to express creativity and learn.
  • - Leisure Activities: Providing opportunities for relaxation and enjoyment.
