Tilt Expands Its Horizons: Acquisition of Blipay in Brazil

In a significant move that showcases its commitment to expanding access to financial services, Tilt Finance, a trailblazer in cash flow underwriting and innovative financial solutions, has successfully acquired Blipay. This acquisition marks an essential step for Tilt as it enters Brazil, the largest consumer credit market in Latin America, with an impressive base of over 6 million registered users via Blipay.

Founded to specifically cater to the needs of nonprime consumers, Tilt focuses on individuals often overlooked by traditional lenders. Through innovative methodologies that emphasize real-time cash flow and alternative data over conventional credit scores, Tilt attempts to provide a more accurate assessment of an individual's financial standing. This different approach aims to unlock liquidity for approximately 75% of consumers, making a substantial impact on those in need.

Leveraging its comprehensive global infrastructure and the rich insights learned from previous international ventures, Tilt plans to enhance Blipay's existing operations.
