Kumamon's New Plush Series Launch

San-X, the creative company behind Kumamon, is thrilled to announce the release of its second series of Kumamon plush toys on March 7, 2026, coinciding with the celebration of Kumamon's birthday week. The new series features two exciting items: the "Kumamon Face Keychain" and the "Kumamon Face Magnet," which are now available for pre-order on the Kumamon Square EC site starting today.

Last year marked the 15th anniversary of Kumamon, and the strong demand for the initial plush offerings led to their quick sell-out. Due to the overwhelming popularity, San-X has decided to introduce this new line of collectibles. Both the keychain and magnet will be exclusively sold at Kumamon Square and the Kumamon Square EC shop.

Pre-orders can be placed from today until March 5, 2026. Customers who reserve their items or purchase them at Kumamon Square between March 7 and 15, and those who buy from the Kumamon Square booth at Hanabatake Plaza from March 14 to 15, will receive a special Kumamon postcard, available on a first-come-first-served basis.
