On August 2, 2025, Good Greek partnered with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Broward for their annual Lace Up for Learning event at Snyder Park in Fort Lauderdale. This festive community gathering was not only a celebration but also a fantastic initiative that allowed children to receive brand new sneakers and school supplies. Thousands attended the event, where they enjoyed music, games, and activities, ensuring that everyone had a memorable day. The highlight was the attendance of NFL Pro Bowl star Jarvis Landry, who actively participated in distributing 500 pairs of sneakers and 300 school supply kits. Good Greek Moving & Storage's generous sponsorship played a critical role in ensuring that every child left not only equipped with essential items for academic success but also filled with confidence and pride as they stepped into the new school year.
Just days later, on August 6, Good Greek took part in a collaborative effort with the Education Foundation of Palm Beach County to deliver a staggering 6,193 backpacks filled with school supplies to 11 local schools. This marked the largest single delivery of supplies within the entire initiative, which managed to provide over 16,000 backpacks to students throughout the county. This outreach effort ensured children from diverse backgrounds were ready to walk into their classrooms equipped not only academically but also emotionally, filled with a sense of dignity and support.
Spero Georgedakis, the founder of Good Greek Moving & Storage, emphasized the importance of community responsibility. He stated, "As someone who was raised to value faith, honor, strength, and courage, I believe giving back to our community isn't optional, it's a responsibility.
