The Nobel Sustainability Trust (NST) has made headlines by announcing that Doha, Qatar, will host the prestigious 2026 Sustainability Awards. This decision marks a significant step forward in promoting global environmental solutions, especially with the Middle East playing an increasingly vital role in this movement. The announcement took place on May 19 at the historic Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables, Florida. Here, NST also revealed that Miami will serve as the host city for the Sustainability Awards in 2025. This gathering attracted various prominent figures from South Florida and international sustainability advocates, demonstrating how Miami is now central to the global climate discussion.

Miami as a Leader in Sustainability



The award ceremony scheduled for December 4, 2025, at the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, will honor international pioneers in leadership across implementation, biodiversity, and sustainable smart city solutions. During the announcement, Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava took the opportunity to grant the use of the historic Vizcaya estate for this significant event.
