Speaker Introduction
Progrit's CTO, Daisuke Shimamoto
Daisuke holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Tokyo. His background includes research on malware detection during his time at the university. After graduating, he worked as a Software Engineer for Morgan Stanley Japan, focusing on system development tailored for internal traders and sales teams. Daisuke later ventured into programming education and health tech startups before joining Progrit in July 2020. As an Engineering Manager, he has overseen the development process and the management of the engineering team, eventually becoming the CTO in June 2024. As of April 2026, he serves as an Executive Officer, overseeing a team of over 20 engineers.
