BayCare Appoints Dr. Kriel Ramcharitar
BayCare Health System, a prominent not-for-profit healthcare provider in Florida, has made a significant leadership change by appointing Dr. Kriel Ramcharitar as its new Vice President and Chief Medical Officer for Value-Based Care. A Wealth of Experience
Before his appointment at BayCare, Dr. Ramcharitar served as a faculty member at the Jefferson College of Public Health at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. He was also Vice President and Chief Medical Officer for the Memorial Hermann Health System's ACO and Population Health Service Organization in Houston and had a prominent leadership role with the National Health Service in the UK.
Dr. Ramcharitar's academic credentials include degrees from The University of the West Indies in Trinidad and a Master of Science in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. His extensive training further includes a Higher Specialist Training in Public Health Medicine from the University of Oxford.
