Encompass Health Expands to Post Falls, Idaho

Encompass Health Corp., a key player in the rehabilitation healthcare sector, has revealed its plans to establish a new, freestanding inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Post Falls, Idaho. This facility is set to feature 50 beds dedicated to the rehabilitation of patients recovering from various debilitating conditions such as strokes, neurological disorders, brain and spinal injuries, amputations, and complex orthopedic problems. Scheduled to open its doors in 2028, this hospital aims to enhance the quality of care available in Idaho's Kootenai County, which is recognized as one of the fastest-growing areas in the state and a spot that greatly lacks inpatient rehabilitation services.

The forthcoming hospital will incorporate several essential amenities and services designed with patient recovery in mind. Apart from providing around-the-clock nursing care, it will offer specialized therapies including physical, occupational, and speech therapies. These services will be carried out by a team of dedicated healthcare professionals, including specialized nurses, therapists, and physicians, all focused on restoring functionality and improving patients' quality of life.

Inside the new facility, patients will find private rooms to ensure a comfortable recovery environment. The hospital will boast a large therapy gym equipped with cutting-edge rehabilitation technology, which is instrumental in delivering quality therapeutic care. Additionally, an activities of daily living suite will be available to assist patients in regaining independence through practice in a controlled environment.
