LIAN Group Enhances Its Presence in Aesthetic Medicine with Vitaura Launch

LIAN Group Launches Vitaura: A New Era in Aesthetic Medicine

On December 4, 2024, LIAN Group unveiled Vitaura, a transformative initiative poised to reshape the landscape of aesthetic medicine, surgery, and longevity practices. Acting as a consolidation business, Vitaura aims to integrate various clinics and practitioners under a unified network of excellence, similar to the former Cheeze Dentistry Network. The primary focus is to ensure high-quality standards while optimizing the use of resources across different establishments.

The Italian market is witnessing a remarkable growth trajectory, ranking 9th globally in 2023 with 757,000 aesthetic procedures performed, tallying an estimated market value of over $300 million. This surge has led to an influx of smaller players in the sector, contributing to a fragmented environment where aggregative models are largely absent. By establishing Vitaura, LIAN Group seeks to create a cohesive network that not only supports clinics but also enhances the quality of care provided to patients.

As part of its initial strategy, Vitaura has announced its first acquisition: the Medicina Estetica Zazzaron clinic, which boasts operations in two locations within Veneto and holds a prestigious position among the top 10 clinics nationally. Founded and managed by Dr. Michela Zazzaron, she will continue to lead the clinic while Dr. Andrea Grassi joins as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Head of Business Development. His extensive experience is expected to be instrumental in the future expansion of Vitaura.

Plans are in motion for acquiring two additional clinics in Tuscany, with ambitions to expand the Vitaura network further through eight more acquisitions over the next 36 months. “We want to emphasize the idea of a network rather than a mere group. Each clinic we acquire will maintain its unique identity and operational autonomy in managing patient relationships,” explained Matteo Cardarelli, Director and Head of Investments for LIAN Group in Italy. This approach is designed to preserve the long-standing trust between practitioners and their patients, ensuring a seamless transition as new clinics join the fold.

This consolidation initiative is not solely limited to aesthetic medicine; it is part of a broader Healthcare Platform strategy that LIAN Group has been nurturing, which has already seen multiple successful operations in related healthcare sectors. By focusing on administrative, financial, and strategic marketing support, Vitaura allows physicians to devote their energies to clinical activities, patient care, and professional growth.

With a committed team including Fiorenzo Manganiello (Managing Partner and Co-Founder), Matteo Cardarelli, Michele Di Minno, and Jacopo Spoto, and supported by legal and financial advisors such as Gianni Origoni and Banca Profilo, LIAN Group is positioned for success in this new venture. The consolidation of aesthetic medicine is anticipated to enhance service quality, streamline operations, and improve patient outcomes in the evolving healthcare landscape.

The foundation of Vitaura is a response to the pressing need for integrated practices capable of navigating the complexities of aesthetic treatments while maintaining a focus on patient-centered care. As this initiative unfolds, it will be closely watched by industry stakeholders eager to see how it shapes the future of aesthetic medicine in Italy and beyond.
