This collaboration will leverage IDeaS' advanced Cruise Revenue Management System (RMS) to enhance demand forecasting and refine pricing strategies, effectively accommodating the boutique cruise line's expanding fleet and diverse passenger offerings.
With cruising enjoying a resurgence, the global passenger volume is expected to hit 38.9 million in 2026, translating to projected industry revenues exceeding $46.5 billion. Windstar, known for its intimate sailing experiences and luxurious accommodations, operates eight ships that provide a range of unique staterooms and onboard activities. As such, the need for a more precise and scalable approach to revenue management has never been greater.
The collaboration with IDeaS comes at a crucial juncture, wherein Windstar looks to harness the full potential of its assets while continuing to increase value for guests.
