HYLENR Secures Pre-Series A Funding for Low-Energy Nuclear Reaction Systems

HYLENR Secures Significant Funding for Clean Energy Innovation

HYDERABAD, India — In a remarkable development for the energy sector, HYLENR, a burgeoning clean energy startup, has successfully closed its pre-Series A funding round, raising approximately $3 million. This funding is pivotal in transitioning from innovative research to the actual prototyping and commercialization of low-energy nuclear reactions (LENR), marking a notable shift towards scalable and carbon-free energy solutions.

Led by Valour Capital and Chhattisgarh Investments Limited, this funding round also witnessed participation from notable individual investors, including Karthik Sundar Iyer and Anant Sarda. Professional services firm PwC has provided advisory support, with legal guidance from Samvad Partners. This financial boost allows HYLENR to accelerate its market launch timelines, reflecting the growing confidence in LENR technology as a feasible alternative to fossil fuels.

Karan Goshar, partner at Valour Capital, observed, "HYLENR's LENR technology is groundbreaking; it signifies a considerable leap in how we approach industrial heat and energy generation. What excites us the most is its scalability and safety profile, paired with the exceptional blend of technological and business expertise within the team. We believe HYLENR is set to play a transformative role in the global energy transition."

Siddhartha Durairajan, CEO of HYLENR, echoed this excitement, stating, "Our recent lab results indicate unprecedented energy gain ratios, and this funding propels us to concentrate on our product roadmap. We have initiated early proof-of-concept trials, garnering interest from several government entities and large corporations in our LENR systems. Our next phase will focus on scaling production and expanding our global footprint."

Notably, this funding is seen as a strong vote of confidence in both the technology and HYLENR's mission. Co-founder, CEO, and Managing Director Ram Ramaseshan remarked, "We have transcended the proof-of-concept stage, and we are now in a position where LENR can begin addressing real-world energy challenges. This financial backing is crucial in speeding up product development and market expansion to meet the industry's growing demand for high-performance, clean thermal and electrical energy solutions, particularly in markets like the U.S., Europe, India, and Japan."

Currently, pilot projects are underway with significant governmental institutions and industrial players focusing on replacing traditional fossil fuel-based systems with next-generation sustainable alternatives. HYLENR's product range is designed to cater to various scales, from 7.2 kW units for domestic use up to 1 MW for large industrial applications.

Looking ahead, HYLENR aims to secure another round of funding amounting to $25 million, targeting strategic investors and clean energy-focused funds in the U.S. and Europe. This initiative intends to capitalize on current momentum and expand its international partnerships in R&D, engineering, and collaboration. The company seeks investors who align with its mission, acknowledging LENR as a cornerstone of the post-carbon energy era.

The inspiration behind the LENR technology primarily comes from HYLENR's Director of Innovation, Padma Shri Dr. Prahlada, widely celebrated for his contributions to the Akash missile project, alongside Dr. Varaprasad, the company’s Chief Scientific Officer.
