NTT Docomo has announced a remarkable achievement in the realm of digital rewards. For the fiscal year 2025 (April 2025 - March 2026), the total annual consumption of dポイント has exceeded 400.52 billion points. This signifies the first occasion the common point system has broken through the 400 billion mark.

In comparison to the previous year, this milestone represents an approximate growth of 25%. The impressive increase not only showcases the growth rate but also reflects the expanding utilization scale of dポイント as it becomes firmly established as a practical common point used in daily life.

Breakdown of dポイント Usage



The breakdown reveals that out of the total points utilized, 338.9 billion points were spent at various participating merchants through dポイント and d払い, while 66.3 billion points were allocated to Docomo’s own services and products. Notably, around 80% of all points were used at associated merchants, demonstrating the widespread acceptance of dポイント outside of solely Docomo’s offerings.

This expanding acceptance means that dポイント can now be utilized across a multitude of daily expenses including convenience stores, drugstores, supermarkets, restaurants, electronics retailers, and e-commerce sites. Users often accrue points in their everyday payments, which can then be promptly applied towards subsequent transactions.
