In a remarkable achievement, Thunes has been named one of the Top FinTech Companies in the world for the second consecutive year by CNBC and Statista. This recognition underscores its vital role in enhancing payment interoperability and facilitating international money transfers across diverse financial ecosystems.

Thunes, often referred to as the “Smart Superhighway” for money transfers, has successfully bridged fragmented financial systems globally. According to the latest annual ranking by CNBC and Statista, Thunes is categorized under payments, highlighting its significant commercial impact and innovative contributions to the financial technology sector.

With a direct global network, Thunes ensures seamless interoperability between banks, mobile wallets, local real-time payment systems, and digital assets, enabling effortless value circulation worldwide. The company's unique infrastructure is facilitated through two distinct channels. The direct API integration offered by the network allows immediate access to a compliant and ultra-fast payment infrastructure for its members.

Notably, Thunes has expanded its partnerships with prominent entities like Absa Bank, EcoBank, Mashreq, Mastercard, MTN Tanzania, Ripple, Sterling Bank, and WeChat Pay HK. Additionally, a strategic collaboration with Swift empowers over 11,500 financial institutions to execute instant and frictionless payments directly into bank accounts, mobile wallets, and stablecoin wallets without additional integration requirements.

Thunes’ global infrastructure has grown considerably, connecting various terminals across 140 countries, supporting 90 fiat currencies, and integrating with 12 billion bank accounts, mobile wallets, and stablecoin wallets. The network further accommodates 15 billion cards and offers over 220 alternative payment methods.
