Enhancing Corporate Responsibility with Audrey King

Audrey King has been appointed as the senior vice president of Corporate Responsibility, as well as the president and CEO of the Georgia Power Foundation. This foundation is recognized as the third-largest corporate giving foundation in Georgia, having supported over 400 organizations statewide in 2024. In her new capacity, King will spearhead initiatives aimed at fostering corporate responsibility, philanthropy, and community engagement. The primary focus will be on crucial areas such as education, environmental sustainability, and empowering local communities throughout Georgia.

King has an extensive history with Georgia Power, having joined the company over thirty years ago. Her career began in 1991 as a customer service representative in Macon, and she has since ascended through multiple roles in Customer Service, Sales, Distribution, and External Affairs. Most recently, she served as SVP of Region External Affairs. King's commitment to her community is evident in her involvement with various non-profit organizations, including the State Housing Trust Fund for the Homeless and the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce.

Fann, who previously held the position of vice president of strategy and support in Power Delivery, will focus on managing relationships with region executives across the state. His responsibilities will include enhancing community engagement and aligning the company’s strategic initiatives with customer and employee needs.

Fann began his journey with Georgia Power as a co-op student in 2000 and has demonstrated exceptional leadership across various functions including Engineering, Operations, and Labor Relations. His recent focus on the Grid Investment Program aims to ensure reliability and service excellence, particularly in growing communities across Georgia.
