October 4 to November 30, 2025, the Konica Minolta Planetarium in Tokyo will host an immersive concert titled
'Planetarium Concert -流星と映画「ハウルの動く城」の音楽-. This event promises to transport attendees into a realm where music and the cosmos intertwine.
A Symphony of Music Under the Stars
This special concert invites you to enjoy live renditions of the iconic soundtrack from Studio Ghibli's beloved film
'Howl's Moving Castle'. Performed by the talented quartet
あめのした, featuring a piano, cello, double bass, and saxophone, the concert will recreate the enchanting melodies composed by Joe Hisaishi. Renowned for their emotional depth and beauty, the music from 'Howl's Moving Castle' has been meticulously arranged to bring listeners on a musical journey through the film's most striking themes.
The concert will include various pieces such as:
- - Life's Merry-Go-Round: Opening Theme
- - Stroll in the Sky
- - Sophie's Tomorrow
- - Cave of Mind
- - Promise of the World: Life's Merry-Go-Round: Ending Theme
With a total of
ten pieces to be performed, all arrangements will be instrumental. Please note that Chieko Baisho will not be present during the performance, ensuring the focus remains solely on the beautiful music.

Special performances on
October 18 include two shows at 12:15 PM and 2:15 PM. Each concert will commence at
12:15 PM with an approximate duration of
50 minutes.
