The Structural Building Components Association (SBCA) has once again opened the doors to creativity with its annual SBCA Innovation Grant program. This initiative aims to stimulate innovation within the structural building components and framing industry. Applications are now being accepted until May 15, 2026, granting an opportunity for both individuals and companies to showcase their groundbreaking ideas.

Application Details


The application period commenced on March 2, 2026, and will run until 11:59 PM Pacific Time on May 15, 2026. Those interested in applying can expect to be notified of the grant recipients by May 31, 2026. This year's grant not only emphasizes the importance of new ideas but also focuses on providing a platform for these innovations.

What the Grant Offers


Winning the SBCA Innovation Grant comes with multiple benefits. Innovators will have the unique chance to publicize their work through SBCA's media channels. Additionally, recipients will be featured at the Building Component Manufacturers Conference - Framer Summit (BCMC), where they can showcase their creations to over 2,000 potential customers. Each recipient will receive:
  • - A 10x10 booth at BCMC 2026, taking place in Columbus, Ohio.
  • - Up to three exhibit passes for the entire event.
  • - Press announcements highlighting their innovations leading up to the conference.

Furthermore, there is the exciting possibility for grant recipients to be crowned the 2026 People’s Choice Innovator, which offers additional exposure in SBCA Magazine and a feature in SBCA Industry News.
