It will boast 11 state-of-the-art classrooms, integrating Before and After School programs along with a vibrant Summer Camp option. This new center will be owned and operated by Dr. Roger and Robin Clough, who have become notable figures in the local childcare industry since opening the Discovery Point Twelve Oaks location in nearby Bradenton in December 2020. Their previous center has experienced rapid growth, reaching capacity quickly and establishing itself as a preferred childcare choice for local families.

Childcare has always been a family passion for the Cloughs. Their daughter, McKenzie Clough, who graduated from the University of Tampa, joined the Twelve Oaks location in January 2024 as Assistant Director and will also help manage operations at the new Lakewood Ranch center. Their son, Owen Clough, a current University of Tampa student, contributes as a Summer Camp Assistant Teacher, ensuring continuity of quality care and a family-oriented environment.
