Nurse Manga Awards 2026: Honoring Outstanding Works in Nursing Comics
Recently, SMS Corporation, located in Minato, Tokyo, announced the winners of the
Nurse Manga Awards 2026. The awards, organized by the popular nursing community platform
Nurse Senka (check out the full details at
Nurse Manga Awards 2026), recognize the best nursing comics based on voting from members and followers, including contributions from Instagram.
The award structure comprises two main categories: the
Nurse Manga Awards, where the most popular comics are selected through votes, and the
Episode Awards, which honors real-life nursing experiences submitted by nurses.
Understanding Nurse Manga
Nurse Senka serves as a community platform for nurses and nursing students, offering valuable resources including forums for advice, latest healthcare news, and strategies for passing nursing certification exams. As of July 1, 2026, it boasts an impressive membership of about 1.43 million individuals.
The initiative began in 2014, encouraging nurses to share their personal experiences. Initially, this content was published in traditional formats before transitioning to comic form in 2018, making it more accessible and engaging. To date, over 2,300 comics have been published, amplifying voices from the nursing field and shining a light on the varied emotional journeys faced by healthcare professionals.
