DXC and 7AI Collaborate on Innovative AI-Powered Security Operations Service
DXC and 7AI Announce Strategic Partnership
In a groundbreaking move, DXC Technology has teamed up with 7AI to introduce the DXC Agentic Security Operations Center (SOC), a new AI-driven service set to redefine how security operations function across various industries. With this collaboration, the two companies aim to leverage artificial intelligence to provide faster response times, greater accuracy, and a significant reduction in operational costs.
The innovative DXC Agentic SOC is designed to integrate fully autonomous AI agents that handle everything from alert triaging to threat investigation and incident remediation. By using specialized AI agents from 7AI, DXC will significantly enhance the efficiency and scalability of its security service operations. This automated approach is expected to yield measurable improvements in security outcomes for customers globally.
Since the implementation of the 7AI platform, it has saved security teams over 224,000 analyst hours—equivalent to around 112 full-time analyst years—resulting in cost savings exceeding $11.2 million. With projections suggesting that clients will save more than $100 million in 2025 alone, this partnership marks a dramatic shift towards automated security solutions that replace traditional manual processes.
Chris Drumgoole, President of Global Infrastructure Services at DXC, emphasized the transformative potential of AI in security, stating, "The future of security operations does not lie in merely adding more tools or automation. It is about intelligent agents that deliver significantly better outcomes." He believes that this collaboration will pioneer the next phase of managed security services, focusing on more effective insights, faster response times, and ultimately better protection for customers.
How It Works
The DXC Agentic SOC utilizes advanced dynamic reasoning capabilities that allow its AI agents to autonomously determine the best investigative approach for new and unprecedented threats in real time—without relying on pre-defined playbooks or rules. This innovation dramatically reduces investigative time, allowing teams to save between 30 minutes to 2.5 hours per investigation while lowering the rates of false positives that can consume analyst resources.
Moreover, the partnership will provide DXC's customers with access to a wide-ranging network of anonymized threat patterns and intelligence that improves their understanding of potential risks without compromising sensitive data. This is complemented by extensive governance, risk, and compliance services tailored to suit the specific needs of each client.
Lior Div, CEO and Co-Founder of 7AI, noted, "DXC's existing cybersecurity presence, which handles 4.5 million security threats daily across 25 delivery centers, creates a real-world data environment essential for advancing our AI capabilities. This partnership validates our vision—a new era where security teams can concentrate solely on achieving security outcomes."
Live Demonstrations at Black Hat 2025
Potential clients and stakeholders will have the opportunity to see live demonstrations of the DXC Agentic SOC at the upcoming Black Hat 2025 conference, scheduled from August 3 to 8 in Las Vegas. Attendees can visit the 7AI booth (#1940) or the AI Pavilion (#4412) for hands-on experience and discussions regarding implementation, customization options, and integration with existing DXC services.
Through this partnership, DXC and 7AI not only aim to enhance operational efficiencies but also strive to empower security teams to act proactively rather than reactively, marking a significant step forward in the evolution of cybersecurity management.
