Kirishima Yokogawa Distillery Celebrates Two Years

On May 16, 2023, Kirishima Yokogawa Distillery received its whiskey manufacturing license, marking the beginning of its journey in bringing unique Japanese whiskey to enthusiasts worldwide. As part of its second anniversary celebration, the distillery is launching a special initiative featuring limited edition casks, allowing whiskey lovers to own a piece of handcrafted excellence.

Exclusive Owner's Cask Sale

Starting from May 8, 2025, until June 30, 2025, the distillery will offer exclusive Owner's Casks. These casks can be purchased individually or shared among two to three co-owners, making it easier for those who might find it daunting to invest in an entire cask.

Traditionally, a single cask from other brands is priced around ¥1.5 million, but the distillery aims to lower this barrier with a limited number of casks available at a special price. This initiative is designed to widen the fan base of cask owners, inviting more people to experience the joy of having their own whiskey.

Animal Collector Series: New Launches

In the spring of 2025, the distillery will also introduce two new products in its popular Animal Collector Series, following the success of the initial launches of "DOG WALKER" and "ELEGANT CAT." The new additions will be single malt whiskeys named "Toy Poodle" and "Scottish Fold."

• - DOG WALKER Toy Poodle: Crafted from a blend of sherry cask, white wine cask, and bourbon cask aged spirits, this whiskey captures the playful nature of the Toy Poodle with a bright and gentle flavor.
• - ELEGANT CAT Scottish Fold: This expression blends sherry cask, red wine cask, and bourbon cask aged spirits, aiming to represent the elegant charm of the Scottish Fold with a deep and captivating taste.
