BlueNord ASA Unveils Preliminary Production Figures for April 2025
BlueNord ASA, a prominent player in the energy sector, has recently disclosed its preliminary production statistics for April 2025. This announcement highlights the company's noteworthy achievements and efficiency in its operational output across its production hubs.
In April, BlueNord reported a total production of 34.5 mboepd (thousand barrels of oil equivalent per day), which is aligned with their strategic production goals. The primary production areas—Dan, Gorm, and Halfdan—accounted for 21.7 mboepd, confirming the company’s expectations. Meanwhile, the Tyra hub contributed an impressive 12.8 mboepd. This robust performance is backed by operational efficiencies that exceeded 95% at both the Dan and Halfdan locations, showcasing BlueNord’s commitment to maximizing production capabilities.
A significant milestone was reached on April 10, when technical challenges were resolved, leading to the restoration of full operational capacity at Tyra II. The repairs followed a breaker failure within the electrical high-voltage system, which had been identified on March 4. Following these repairs, production levels saw a steady increase, culminating in a remarkable production figure of 23.4 mboepd on April 30. This surge was facilitated by the commissioning of 88% of Tyra wells, with approximately 60% of these wells actively contributing to production outputs.
As of May 5, after ongoing enhancements in production processes, BlueNord achieved a gross production of 199.8 mmscfpd of gas and 32.4 mbblpd of oil. This translates into a net production rate of 26.1 mboepd for the company. With production levels on an upward trajectory, BlueNord is optimistic about reaching its anticipated plateau gas production goal of around 250 mmscfpd in the near future.
Looking ahead, the company will be announcing its first-quarter financial results for 2025 on May 14 at 0700 CEST. Investors and stakeholders are encouraged to tune in for insights related to the company’s operational performance and financial standing.
In conclusion, BlueNord ASA's preliminary production figures not only reflect strong operational efficiencies but also portend a promising future for the company as it looks to stabilize and increase its production levels. The ongoing commitment to infrastructure upgrades and operational refinements will likely continue to serve the company well as it navigates the challenges of the energy sector.
