CSU Global and CASE Join Forces to Enhance Educator Pathways in Colorado

In a significant move to enhance educational opportunities for teachers in Colorado, Colorado State University Global (CSU Global) has partnered with the Colorado Association of School Executives (CASE). This collaboration aims to address the state’s K-12 personnel needs by offering special tuition pricing on a variety of online graduate-level courses and programs.

This partnership is particularly timely, given the increasing demands on school administrators and educators. With CSU Global’s flexible online programs, CASE members—including around 3,300 public school administrators representing nearly all of Colorado's 178 school districts—will gain access to high-quality educational resources at reduced costs.

Several graduate programs are included in this offering, such as a Master’s in Teaching and Learning, a Principal Licensure program, and additional coursework tailored for collegiate-level instruction. For many educators, especially those balancing work and personal responsibilities, the benefit of accessing these courses online—and at a special rate—can make a significant difference in their career advancement. The flexibility of online learning allows teachers who might struggle with commuting to a campus the chance to further their education without the added stress.

Dr. Audra Spicer, Acting President at CSU Global, emphasized the university's dedication to empowering educators. She stated, "By partnering with CASE, we are removing the barriers of time and cost, allowing the leaders of our K–12 schools to gain specialized skills and credentials that positively impact their career prospects and communities."

On the other side of this partnership, Melissa Gibson, Executive Director of CASE, echoed these sentiments, acknowledging the importance of relevant and practical professional learning for school leaders. With the objectives of strengthening leadership capabilities in Colorado schools, the collaboration stands as a testament to the shared commitment of both CSU Global and CASE to enhance educational outcomes for students.

To ensure a successful educational journey for all students, CSU Global aims to provide dedicated resources, including financial aid advisors and on-demand support services like live tutoring and writing assistance—all at no extra cost. This comprehensive support infrastructure ensures that educators, whether they're aspiring leaders or experienced administrators looking to expand their qualifications, receive the guidance and resources necessary to succeed.

The partnership is not just a response to current educational needs; it reflects a forward-thinking approach to empower educators in adapting to the evolving landscape of education. By aligning programs with real-world demands, CSU Global and CASE are creating new pathways for educators to thrive in their careers while simultaneously uplifting the quality of education across Colorado.

In sum, this partnership marks an innovative step towards fulfilling Colorado's staffing needs within K-12 education, equipping educators with the skills necessary for effective leadership. The collaboration aims to enrich the capabilities of school leaders, thereby positively influencing the educational landscape for future generations.
