Celebrating Excellence: Finalists Announced for the 2026 Wealth Management Industry Awards
The 2026 Wealth Management Industry Awards Finalists Revealed
On June 3, 2026, the highly anticipated finalists for the 2026 Wealth Management Industry Awards were announced, marking a significant milestone in recognizing excellence in the wealth management sector. This year’s program highlights the outstanding firms, executives, and organizations that are driving innovation and best practices within the industry.
The Wealth Management Industry Awards, affectionately called the “Wealthies,” are now in their 12th year. They aim to spotlight the leaders who are actively shaping the future landscape of financial advice, wealth management technology (wealthtech), and overall client engagement. This annual event has gained recognition as a critical platform for celebrating achievements and innovations in an ever-evolving industry.
This year's award cycle witnessed a record-breaking 1,392 nominations from 508 unique companies, a substantial increase from last year's 1,210 nominations. This impressive figure highlights the escalating momentum in the wealth management arena, showcasing a nearly fourfold rise since the awards' inaugural year in 2015, which saw just 350 nominations.
Among the 315 unique companies honored in 107 categories are new initiatives demonstrating the evolving nature of wealth management practices. Notably, nearly 40% of this year's submissions highlighted innovative ideas that mark the trend towards new methodologies and tools being employed across various organizations in the sector.
David Armstrong, Managing Director of Editorial and Content Strategies at Informa's Wealth Management Group, expressed enthusiasm regarding the nomination trends, stating, “The scale and quality of this year's nominations reflect an industry that continues to evolve at an extraordinary pace. What stood out to our judges was not just product innovation but also the growing sophistication surrounding how firms are helping advisors operate, communicate, and personalize advice.” Armstrong emphasized that the finalists are representative of a diverse array of organizations committed to propelling the industry forward.
The 2026 Wealth Management Industry Awards also introduced several new categories aimed at acknowledging emerging trends within the advisor ecosystem. These include awards for Partnership Development Executive of the Year, Advisor Intelligence Platforms, and Video Series of the Year, among others. The introduction of such categories attracted 142 nominations, with 59 finalists being selected.
Some of the most recognized finalists for this year included Advyzon, which received nine nominations, followed closely by RFG Advisory and Wealth.com, each garnering seven nominations. Notably, Concurrent Investment Advisors and Merit Financial Advisors each achieved six finalist recognitions, showcasing their commitment to innovation and excellence.
The awards ceremony is slated to take place on September 10, 2026, at the prestigious Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City. This glamorous evening is anticipated to bring together leaders from across the wealth management landscape, celebrating innovation, leadership, and the positive impact these organizations have on the financial advisory community.
