Celebrating Four Years of Lineage W with the "GOLDEN PLEDGE" Update

NCSOFT Corporation, headquartered in Pangyo, South Korea, has officially announced the latest updates to its popular MMORPG, Lineage W. Coinciding with the game's four-year anniversary, the major update, titled "GOLDEN PLEDGE," has officially launched on November 5, 2025, following the regular maintenance.

What's New in the GOLDEN PLEDGE Update?

The GOLDEN PLEDGE update brings exciting new content, including a brand new signature class, the Demon Slayer, the introduction of an Eastern-themed dungeon, and the launch of the economy-focused world known as "Feira."

New Signature Class: Demon Slayer

The highlight of the update is the introduction of the new signature class, the Demon Slayer, known for its robust combat sustain capabilities and ability to manage status ailments. Utilizing a special ability called "Yoki," the Demon Slayer can enhance both offensive and defensive capabilities. The Yoki system is comprised of a unique parameter that consists of a Yoki gauge and Yoki crystals. Players accumulate the Yoki gauge and can unlock Yoki crystals for buffs or debuffs during gameplay. To celebrate the arrival of the new class, there's a Class Change event where players can switch to the Demon Slayer from November 5 to November 19, 2025.

New Economy-Focused World: Feira

The Feira world launched on November 5 at 6 PM, designed to promote economic playstyles. Players in this world can obtain paid equipment and cards through Adena, along with access to a dedicated season pass. Various exciting events have been kicked off to assist character growth, accompanied by the opportunity to earn a four-part "EARLYBIRD COUPON" just by attending events.

New Dungeon: Houtou Sengoku

Players can now explore the first Eastern-themed dungeon in Lineage W, named "Houtou Sengoku". This dungeon, available to characters over level 85, can be accessed for seven hours each week. It features an open-field setup that connects numerous regions, with drag features that allow players to transform into dragons.

The dungeon consists of several regions, including "Kogane no" and "Seien Chikurin," with various yokai to encounter tied to the four sacred beasts (White Tiger, Vermillion Bird, Black Tortoise, Azure Dragon). At the end of the dungeon, the boss monster "Kirihana" awaits, where players can gain mythic-level items!

4th Anniversary TJ's COUPON

To commemorate its fourth anniversary, Lineage W is launching the TJ's COUPON event that runs from November 5, 2025, to December 17, 2025. During this event, players can purchase "TJ Coins (Stamped)" from the event tab in the shop menu. These coins can be exchanged for various coupons that allow players to retry failed synthesis or enhancement attempts, as well as change skill cards within a specified timeframe.
