EcoFlow's Role at the Aomori Nebuta Festival
EcoFlow Technology Japan, a leading tech firm specializing in cutting-edge portable power solutions and clean energy technologies, has partnered with Hitachi's Tohoku branch during the Aomori Nebuta Festival. This collaboration, part of EcoFlow’s Corporate Social Responsibility efforts, aims to support the large Nebuta floats operated by the Hitachi Union Nebuta Committee.
On July 21, the festival preparations included raising the large Nebuta floats to their platforms, a process known as 'daiage.' EcoFlow's portable power units were loaded onto the floats to illuminate their interiors, gearing them up for the main event of the festival, which begins on August 2.
The eco-friendly 'Decarbonized Nebuta' has been showcased since 2022 and, for the fourth consecutive year, EcoFlow's portable power stations will illuminate the float exhibits during night operations. Festival-goers will enjoy the stunning visuals of the Nebuta without the noise and emissions typically associated with traditional generators.
A New EcoFlow Charging Spot
In an exciting development for this year, a new EcoFlow charging spot will be introduced at the “Shinmachi Cube” located on the third floor at 2-6-25 Shinmachi, Aomori. This space will serve as a lounge for festival participants, providing not only charging facilities for smartphones and cameras but also opportunities for visitors to experience EcoFlow’s portable power stations firsthand.
Upcoming Schedule for the Aomori Nebuta Festival
The festival will commence on August 2, with additional operations scheduled for August 4, 5, 6, and a daytime show on August 7. The weights of the portable power units integrated into the Nebuta floa ts sum up to approximately 350 kg, featuring multiple models including:
- - 1 DELTA Pro Ultra Inverter (31.7 kg)
- - 3 DELTA Pro Ultra Batteries (50.7 kg each)
- - 2 DELTA Pro units (45 kg each)
- - 2 DELTA Pro Extra Batteries (38 kg each)
