BRISK STAND at Escon Field Hokkaido
This March, BRISK STAND, a celebrated burger shop from Kobe, Japan, was chosen for the prestigious Tabelog's '100 Best Burgers 2026' award. The restaurant operates out of Tokyo, with its headquarters situated in Adachi, and is led by representative Yuugo Soeda. As an acknowledgment of its culinary excellence, BRISK STAND is set to launch a limited-time pop-up shop at Escon Field Hokkaido.
About the Selection
The Tabelog '100 Best Burgers' award is a gourmet accolade based on user ratings, which emphasizes the concept of dining at the best places for delicious food. In 2026, a total of 100 restaurants from across Japan were selected, and BRISK STAND’s dedication to ingredient quality, cooking method, and burger design earned it a place on the list. With its roots in Kobe, BRISK STAND has gained a strong following due to its unique flavor profiles and innovative techniques.
Pop-Up at Escon Field
BRISK STAND's pop-up will be located at Escon Field Hokkaido, the home ground of the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters. The venue is known for combining sports, tourism, and food, thus offering a unique environment for visitors. At this pop-up, guests will experience burgers that reflect the high-quality standards associated with the '100 Best Burgers' badge.
Special Offerings
During this limited engagement, BRISK STAND will feature its flagship item, the 'Kitta Yatsu Single Patty', a one-of-a-kind burger experience that embodies their signature approach. Within the extraordinary setting of a ballpark, customers will enjoy the unifying nature of dining at BRISK STAND, designed to enhance the overall event experience.
Introduction to BRISK STAND
With its origins in Kobe, BRISK STAND has become synonymous with a distinctive style of burger that evokes a sense of traditional Japanese flavors. It made its debut in the Tabelog’s '100 Best Burgers' in 2024, setting off a wave of expansion across the country. In 2025, BRISK STAND clinched the title of 'Best Gourmet Burger' in the Japan Burger Championship, establishing its reputation on a national scale. Furthermore, the shop has also made appearances at the global championship in Indianapolis, USA.
Crafted with care, BRISK STAND burgers use additive-free whole wheat buns, completely avoiding shortening and margarine. The patties are made from 100% domestic beef without any fillers, seasoned solely with natural salt. Their signature sweet and rich homemade sautéed onions pair perfectly with the juicy patty, creating a taste that defines BRISK STAND.
Perhaps their most famous item is the 'Kitta Yatsu', a burger that is sliced vertically and twice-seared on a hot iron plate. This unique preparation allows the meat juices to infuse thoroughly, offering a remarkable sensory experience. The stunning presentation of the 'Kitta Yatsu' often draws long lines even before the shop opens, and its appealing appearance and texture have garnered much acclaim.
