Encore Online Seminar on the Successful Case of Eve Auto Implementation at Ricoh Tohoku

Discovering Automation Success: The Eve Auto Implementation at Ricoh Tohoku

On April 24, 2025, eve autonomy will host an encore online seminar, offering valuable insights into a remarkable case study of automation in a manufacturing environment. This seminar highlights how Ricoh Tohoku successfully integrated the "Eve Auto" autonomous transport solution into their production processes. After the initial seminar on March 31, which garnered significant interest and positive feedback, the recorded session will once again be available for those who missed it or want to review the content.

The Importance of Automation in Manufacturing

Ricoh Tohoku is at the forefront of the Ricoh Group's Digital Manufacturing (DM) initiative, striving to improve both productivity and workplace comfort through automation. The incorporation of Eve Auto was a strategic move to automate outdoor transportation tasks, thereby enhancing operational efficiency. During the seminar, participants will explore the journey of implementation, including the challenges faced, solutions devised, and the achieved results and benefits.

The detailed presentation will be delivered by Daiki Saito, the Group Leader of the DM Engineering Unit within Ricoh’s Printer Production Business Division. He will share his experiences regarding the decision-making process for choosing Eve Auto, the creative usage of the system, and insights into the performance metrics observed post-implementation. In addition, participants can look forward to an open and honest discussion about the hurdles encountered during the integration process and future improvement areas.

Interactive Q&A Session

The seminar will be moderated by Kentaro Ryuu, Head of Sales & Marketing at eve autonomy. He will facilitate an interactive Q&A session, ensuring that participants can address their queries directly and gain practical tips on the implementation and operation of Eve Auto. This session is a fantastic opportunity for anyone interested in the automation of outdoor transportation in the manufacturing sector to learn from actual case studies.

Although this seminar will utilize recorded content from the previous event, eve autonomy is committed to providing real-time responses to questions asked during the session. Participants will also have the opportunity to submit questions directed to Ricoh Tohoku, with answers compiled into a follow-up document shared after the event.
