Following the Golden Week holidays, Ortho Corporation, based in Minato, Tokyo, conducted a survey focused on the nutritional habits and time management awareness of 112 women aged 40 to 50. The findings highlight a notable shift in priorities as individuals seek to maintain nutritional balance despite the current economic pressures and busy work schedules.
Financial Awareness During Golden Week
The survey indicated that 47% of respondents experienced an increase in their expenses during the Golden Week period. Specifically, 16% reported a significant increase, while 31% noted a slight rise in spending. This financial strain has prompted many to rethink their budgets, with 47% expressing a desire to reassess their expenditures post-holiday, showcasing a growing consciousness regarding financial management amidst rising prices and increased spending.
Nutritional Balance as a Priority
Amid the hustle and bustle of daily life, a staggering 52% identified nutritional balance as the most significant aspect often neglected in their meals. Other vital elements that respondents felt were lacking included vegetables (49%), meal quality (33%), and protein (21%). These results underscore a heightened awareness of the importance of maintaining a balanced diet, even when time is scarce.
