CHANDON Unveils a Refreshing Collection of Ready-to-Serve Spritzes for 2026
CHANDON Introduces a Fresh New Collection of Ready-to-Serve Spritzes
Paris, April 8, 2026 – CHANDON, a pioneer in sparkling wine creation since 1959, is excited to reveal a new trio of refreshing, ready-to-serve Spritz cocktails that embrace innovation and flavor. With vineyards spanning across Argentina, California, Brazil, Australia, and China, CHANDON has established itself as one of the world's largest producers of sparkling wines. Each bottle embodies the unique terroirs that define the essence of this prestigious brand.
A New Take on Spritz
This new collection invites consumers to experience three unique Spritz cocktails: the subtly bitter Orange Peel and Spices, the aromatic Red Fruits and Hibiscus, and the zesty Lemon and Verbena. Each blend offers a distinct flavor profile, catering to a variety of palates with alcohol contents of 11.5% and 6% vol.
The project was spearheaded by an expert team, including Ana Paula Bartolucci, Master Winemaker at CHANDON Argentina; Pauline Lhote, Director of Winemaking and Vineyards at CHANDON California; and Inés de los Santos, celebrated mixologist and owner of Cochinchina, recognized as one of the World's 50 Best Bars in 2025. Together, they have crafted these exquisite cocktails by merging their expertise in winemaking and mixology.
Years of Research and Development
The journey to finalize these three remarkable Spritzes involved extensive research, including 179 different formulations over six years. Using must and sparkling wines sourced from Mendoza, known for its high altitude and perfect conditions for producing fresh, balanced wines, the team explored innovative recipes. They incorporated fresh fruits, herbs, and spices, resulting in botanical infusions developed through slow extraction processes.
The key to creating lower alcohol content Spritzes was selecting low-sugar Muscat grapes harvested at the beginning of the season. The fermentation process was halted early to achieve an alcohol level of 5.5% while retaining a residual sugar content of 57 g/L, all infused with natural aroma macerations.
Ana Paula Bartolucci highlighted, "We have created new cocktails without employing any de-alcoholization methods, allowing us to enhance the flavor whilst maintaining a lower alcohol content."
