On September 8, 2026, AmericanAg® officially announced the retirement of Pat Larsen, Senior Vice President of Client Retro & Broker Assumed Pool Management, effective January 31, 2027. Pat has dedicated an impressive 36 years to the reinsurance industry, carving out a legacy marked by dedication and professionalism.

In his current position, Pat has played an integral role in maintaining and nurturing relationships with clients, global retrocessionaire partners, and other stakeholders. His expertise has been pivotal in the development of retrocession solutions tailored to the needs of AmericanAg® and its clientele. Additionally, he manages Broker Assumed pools for a select group of clients, providing essential services that have significantly impacted the organization's success and reputation.

Reflecting on his career, Pat stated, “I have been incredibly fortunate to work with so many intelligent, professional, and authentic colleagues and business partners during my 18 years at AmericanAg® and throughout my entire career in reinsurance. I am now ready for, and excited about, what lies ahead for my family and me as I start this next chapter.”
