Tokyo's Second Financial Seminar for Seniors
On September 9, 2026, a significant event titled the "Second Financial Seminar for Tokyo Residents (For Pre-Retirement and Retirement Generations)" will take place at Kanda Myojin Hall. This seminar, organized by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government in partnership with Yoshimoto Kogyo, aims to equip older generations with knowledge to help them manage their finances effectively in the context of today's economic challenges.
In an era where average life expectancy continues to rise, often referred to as the "100-Year Life Era," one of the pressing concerns for seniors is how to protect their assets and ensure financial security. The seminar will focus on two crucial perspectives: first, strategies for proactive asset management to withstand inflation, and second, defensive measures to prevent financial loss or fraud. Participants will benefit from the insights of well-known entertainers and comedians popular among seniors, who will explain practical financial knowledge in an engaging manner, incorporating quizzes and relatable examples throughout the 120-minute session.
In addition to the main seminar, attendees can visit the "Money Talk Spot (by J-FLEC)" set up in the lobby before the event for complimentary financial consulting sessions.
