Exciting Summer Baseball Camp in Saitama

Are you ready for a summer filled with baseball excitement? From August 12 to 14, 2026, Plus One Education Co., a subsidiary of Riso Education Group, is pleased to announce the STS Baseball Camp for children of grades 1 to 6, taking place in the beautiful city of Chichibu, Saitama Prefecture.

Camp Details

• - Travel Format: Organized Group Tour
• - Dates: August 12 (Wed) to August 14 (Fri), 2026 (Application deadline: August 2, 2026)
• - Participants: Children in grades 1 to 6 (based on their grade level as of the tour departure date)
• - Location: Chichibu City, Saitama
• - Accommodation: Traditional Japanese rooms at Miyamoto no Yu
• - Meals: 2 breakfasts, 3 lunches, and 2 dinners included
• - Transportation: Shinkansen (Bullet Train) from Ikebukuro
• - Cost: 78,100 yen (Includes transportation, accommodation, meals, event experience fees, and travel injury insurance)
• - Capacity: 30 participants (Minimum of 10 required for the camp to proceed)
• - Supervision: A tour guide will accompany the group, with one staff member for every 5-8 students.

Highlights of the Camp

1. Professional Coaching: Children will receive hands-on instruction from former professional baseball player, Coach Ukumori, who has MLB coaching experience. This is a unique opportunity for participants to enhance their skills!
2. Comprehensive Skills Development: The camp will focus on all aspects of baseball, including pitching, batting, base running, and fielding. This is an ideal setting for participants to overcome their weaknesses by revisiting the basics and steadily improving their skills.
3. Q&A Session with Coach Ukumori: Participants will have the chance to engage in a lively Q&A session with the coach and can collect autographs as a memorable keepsake from the camp.

Itinerary Overview

• - Day 1: Departure from Ikebukuro at 8:30 AM, arrival in Chichibu. Activities include preparation exercises, catch ball, batting practice, and autograph session.
• - Day 2: Pitching training, base running drills, batting and fielding practice, followed by a fun gathering in the evening.
• - Day 3: Activities include catching fish and making udon noodles from the fish caught, with lunch featuring the delicious results. Departure from Chichibu back to Ikebukuro around 4:00 PM.
