Drone Transforming Infrastructure DX Demonstration Exhibition
In a remarkable showcase of innovation, the Drone Business Support Association (DBA) is proud to sponsor the upcoming
Drone Transforming Infrastructure DX Demonstration Exhibition set for
September 16, 2026, in
Kanagawa Prefecture. This event, organized by its member company
AK Drone Consultant Co., Ltd. and co-hosted by
LIS LLC, aims to highlight how drones are revolutionizing various sectors such as logistics, infrastructure maintenance, and disaster prevention through live demonstrations.
Background: Seeing is Believing
As the use of drones becomes more prevalent across different sectors, many businesses find themselves unsure of how these technologies can be integrated into their operations. Common questions that arise include, “Where can drones be applied within my company's workflow?” and “What level of accuracy and efficiency can be expected?” The DBA has noted that it is often challenging for organizations to assess potential drone applications based solely on documentation.
The forthcoming exhibition aims to provide concrete answers. Attendees will not only receive insights into practical drone applications but will also witness actual flying demonstrations of the equipment used in real business scenarios. Rather than relying on catalogs, this event allows participants to observe drone operations and understand firsthand the benefits that can be gained from them.
The DBA itself has been involved in actual flight operations, photography, inspections, and surveys. As part of our mission, we transfer our field knowledge back into training and support. This exhibition will feature member companies showcasing their daily operations, allowing visitors to see how the technology is applied in real-world situations.
Four Key Areas of Focus
This exhibition will cover the cutting-edge applications of drone technology across four major fields:
1.
Aerial Delivery Services
2.
Structural Inspections
3.
Infrared Imaging Applications
4.
Surveying and 3D Data Utilization
Participants will witness demonstrations that illustrate the forefront of drone technology and its usage in these sectors.
Demonstration Highlights
The following live demonstrations will take place:
- - Aerial delivery flight using cargo drones, performed by certified instructors.
- - Flight demonstrations featuring drones with automated monitoring capabilities.
- - Demonstration of infrared camera operation and how to leverage infrared images effectively.
- - Autonomous flight route design for drones.
- - 3D data acquisition flights using laser scanners.
- - Techniques for processing point cloud data and applicable case studies.
Attendees will have the opportunity to view the actual drones up close and see how these flights contribute to improved operational efficiency, reduced personnel requirements, disaster risk mitigation, and enhanced safety management. We aim for guests to leave with new insights into practical drone applications that can benefit their businesses.
